Sarah accepted a position as Senior Assistant Director of Development at Harvard University's Central Office. It is a newly created position so it will indeed be an exciting time for her . She brings to her new position the vast and successful experience she has had during the years she worked at Dana Farber Cancer Institute's Development Office.
Her work was greatly appreciated at Dana Farber and her immediate supervisor sent a message to the organization with the following subject line: Dana Farber's loss is Harvard's gain.
So this is just a shout out to our daughter to say we wish her all the success in the world and we are very proud of all that she has accomplished.

Wow! Two great institutions, she is on the track to success! You must be very happy for her. My daughter is just starting out in development. She just graduated and got a job as Assistant Development Director at the deCordova Museum. She met your other daughter when she sang for the Longwood Symphony Orchestra. Perhaps she will someday meet Sarah at a conference or other Boston Development type meeting!

ReplyDeleteSarah started as an associate director at Dana Farber - later promoted to assist director so it was a two step process at some institutions.
Sooner or later they will likely meet.
